At the tender age of 19, she boldly moved to Los Angeles, driven by her aspiration to become a comedic actress. However, she eventually returned to her hometown of Toronto, where she enthusiastically auditioned for various opportunities in films, music videos, and commercials.
Career
Paquette began her professional career as a commentator for WWE, using the nickname Renee Sterling. However, she later opted to change her name to Renee Young. She initially appeared in the ring alongside her co-host Scott Stanford at the 2012 Survivor Series. In addition to her role as a backstage interviewer for NXT, she also had regular on-stage performances. During her SmackDown debut, she interviewed Sheamus, Big Show, and Randy Orton.
In 2013, she debuted on the NXT stage as a part-time color commentator for women’s matches. She collaborated with Tom Phillips on Superstars as a color commentator from 2014 to 2015, making her the first female announcer for WWE in over a decade.
