Previously, he assumed the pseudonym Filthy Frank on YouTube, where he uploaded videos showcasing his proficiency in rap, participating in challenges, delivering ukulele performances, and presenting diverse content. Furthermore, Joji has created comical hip-hop music using the pseudonym Pink Guy.
Between 2014 and 2017, Miller released two comedic studio albums, Pink Guy, “Pink Season,” and “Pink Season: The Prophecy,” and an extended play.
Joji ceased his YouTube activities in 2017 to prioritise his music career. Initially gaining popularity on YouTube with his comedic videos and musical parodies, his skits also significantly popularized the Harlem Shake in 2013. In 2008, he initiated the DizastaMusic YouTube account, but it was not until 2012 when he introduced the persona ‘Filthy Frank,’ that his videos gained significant popularity.
Upon reaching 1 million subscribers, Joji abandoned the channel and initiated a new one called TVFilthyFrank, which subsequently amassed over 8 million subscribers. In 2017, he decided to end his career in comedy due to significant health issues, as he revealed during an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac.
Joji commenced his musical endeavours in 2014, adopting the pseudonym Pink Guy while pursuing his comedic profession. In January 2017, he unveiled his first official album, Pink Season, which ranked 70 in the United States.
Joji released his debut album, Ballads 1, on October 26, 2018. This was followed by his second album, Nectar, released on September 25, 2020. His third album, Smithereens, showcases his most triumphant track, Glimpse Of Us, which achieved a remarkable number six position on the Official UK Top 40 chart after its viral spread on TikTok.
