Brandon Rios is an American professional boxer. He has made a name for himself in the boxing world. His full name is Brandon Lee Rios. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, in April 1986 to Manuel Rios. In his personal life, Brandon Rios is married to Victoria Lopez, and they have three children: Mia, Laila, and Ava. In his previous marriage, he had two children named Marcus Antonio and Brandon Jr.

Brandon Rios, a former U.S. National Amateur Featherlight champion, transitioned into the professional boxing world after a successful amateur career. He began his professional journey by triumphing over Raul Montes in July 2004. By October 2008, Rios faced Manuel Perez in a draw, maintaining an impressive record of 18-0-1. In February 2010, he claimed the NABF lightweight title by defeating Jorge Teron.

In February 2011, he emerged victorious over Miguel Acosta, securing the WBA lightweight title. Later, in October 2012, Brandon Rios claimed the vacant WBO Latino junior welterweight title by defeating Mike Alvarado. However, his triumph was short-lived as he suffered a loss to Alvarado in March 2013, resulting in the forfeiture of the WBO interim junior welterweight title. 

In November 2013, Rios faced Manny Pacquiao for the vacant WBO International welterweight title but was unable to secure the victory. Nevertheless, he redeemed himself in January 2015 by winning the same title against Alvarado. Most recently, in February 2019, Brandon Rios achieved another triumph by defeating Humberto Soto, thereby improving his record to 35-5-1.
