Alicia Sacramone is a former American gymnast. Her full name is Alicia Marie Sacramone Quinn. She was born to Fred Sacramone and Gail Sacramone in Boston, Massachusetts, in December 1987. After graduating from Winchester High School, she studied at Brown University. In 2014, she married Brady Quinn, and together, they have been blessed with four children: Sloan Scott, Teagan Marie, Cassidy Nicole, and Cavanaugh Ty.
Alicia began dancing at age five, while her gymnastics training commenced when she turned eight. In 2002, she made her debut in the elite ranks of competition, and the following year, she proudly became a member of the United States national team.
From 2004 to 2008, Alicia’s exceptional skill earned her 12 medals at the US National Championships, including four Golds on vault and two Golds on floor exercise. Additionally, she won seven medals, including two Golds, at the World Championships between 2005 and 2007.
Alicia contributed to the team’s success by winning a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In 2010, she clinched the National Championship title on vault and added another World Title on vault at the 2010 World Championships. Alicia gracefully retired from her illustrious career on January 29, 2013.
